PRIVACY POLICY [SL] DESK

Effective Date: 18.08.2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Security Lab LLC (“we”, “our”) handles information in connection with the [SL] DESK software (“APP”). We have designed this APP with a strict zero-data-collection policy.

We do not collect, store, process, or share any personal data, usage statistics, connection logs, or device identifiers.

The APP is provided free of charge on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The APP is designed to communicate solely with a server designated by you. You independently procure, install, deploy, configure, and administer both that server and the client software, and you remain solely responsible for their operation. We do not host, operate, administer, or otherwise control the server so designated, and we have no access to that server or to any information processed, stored, or transmitted on it. By using the APP, you acknowledge and agree that no personal information is transmitted to our servers or to any third party under our control or acting on our behalf.

INFORMATION COLLECTION

  1. No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, record, or store any personally identifiable information (PII), IP addresses, location data, contact lists, messages, or usage metrics. The APP operates entirely on your device and communicates only with the server you select and operate. We have no access to that server or to the information on it.

  2. App Permissions: The APP requests system permissions required to provide remote technical support and device management, including screen capture and file transfer. Screen capture permission is granted by the user separately and allows a support specialist to view the contents of the device screen during a remote support session. Access to files is provided solely to perform file transfer operations initiated by the user or an authorized support specialist. You may manage or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Please note that without the necessary permissions, remote technical support features will be unavailable.

  3. No Logs or Tracking: We do not generate, retain, or transmit connection logs, traffic logs, session data, or timestamps. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, fingerprinting technologies, or third-party SDKs for data collection.

  4. Third-Party Services: The APP does not integrate with analytics, advertising, or data-sharing platforms. Session traffic is exchanged only with the server selected and administered by the user and is not logged or inspected by us.

DATA SECURITY

  1. Since we do not collect, store, or transmit any user data to our infrastructure, there is no personal information on our servers that could be accessed, leaked, or compromised. The connection between the device and the support service interface is established in encrypted form with the server chosen by the user. Data transmitted during the session is protected from unauthorized interception in transit between the device and that server. We do not administer this server and do not have access to it or to the information processed on it. Standard internet security practices apply to your online activities beyond our control.
  1. The APP may contain links to external websites or services. These sites are not operated by us. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies before interacting with them.

YOUR RIGHTS & CONTACT

  1. Because we do not collect or process any personal data, statutory rights such as access, rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing do not apply. If you have questions about this policy, the APP’s functionality, or believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding data handling, please contact us:

Please note that as Security Lab LLC does not process personal data and does not have access to the user-operated server, complaints related to data collection, storage, or usage cannot be substantiated against us.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

  1. We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical improvements, legal requirements, or operational changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date”. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the APP constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
